On the occasion of the declaration of 2023 as the European Year of Skills, on January 17th an informative event entitled "Young people in the European Union" was held at the K. Voutsas Theater of the 2nd GEL of Thessaloniki.
The main theme is the possibilities provided to young people through European programs, but also the skills that are now required in the labor market.
There was a presentation of the European programs created exclusively for young people such as Erasmus+, the European Solidarity Corps, DiscoverEU. At the same time, the participants were informed about platforms (Eures, Europass, European Youth Portal, Eurodesk) through which they can look for a job, create a modern CV and cover letter and also acquire soft skills.
The president of KEDITH, Dr. Dimitra Akritidou, addressed a greeting and spoke to young people about their concerns.
