Today, Monday 5 December 2022, the European Information Center EUROPE DIRECT Thessaloniki- KEDITH is pleased to announce the winners of the competition "Thessaloniki: A thousand views, ONE CLICK!", with warm thanks to the public, the jury and especially her Dr. Dimitra Akritidou, President of KEDITH and Ms Thouli Misirloglou, Director of the 8th Thessaloniki Biennale of Contemporary Art, but mainly to the photographers who entrusted us with their projects.
In the first place, Nikolas Karabetakis– his photo will be printed in 2.500 copies.
In second place, Athanasia Tsani. Her photo will be printed in 1.500 copies.
In third place, Panagiotis Kazanasmas. His photo will be printed in 1000 copies.
According to initial announcement, the printed photos will be printed in postcard size, they will bear on the outside the winning photo, the logo of EUROPE DIRECT Thessaloniki-KEDITH, the signature of the photographer, while on the back they will include a brief summary of the activities of EUROPE DIRECT and contact information for the Center.
Given the large volume of photos submitted to the Competition and their excellent quality, the EUROPE DIRECT Thessaloniki-KEDITH Center is in the process of securing the consent of the photographers, in order to print a desk calendar, thus giving the possibility to another twelve photos to highlight the beauty of our city and the distinctive look of their creators.
