The Public Benefit Enterprise of the Municipality of Thessaloniki is the leading partner in the project Be Active - Shape Europe and leads a corporation consisting of six European municipalities. Both KEDITH and the partners recognize the importance of collectively addressing the issue of young people's involvement with the public and the active participation of all European citizens. The aim of the program is for European municipalities to work together and to build a space for exchange and mutual learning on the issue of youth counseling. The long-term goal of the program is to increase the awareness of young people, their interest in political and urban life resulting in their higher participation in political processes such as, for example, the 2019 European elections.
Be Active- Shape Europe is expected to be completed in September 2020, with a closing ceremony, open to the public, to be held in Thessaloniki.
